This website was created to serve as a "third place", which was a theory/term created by Ramen Oldenberg. He stated that a "third place"is neither work nor home, but a space where a community can gather and discuss a range of topics. In this instance, it would be about women in the skateboarding community across the globe, and the happenings surrounding the industry.

This third place thrives on emotional expression of women alike who share a love for skateboarding and everything that goes along with it. This space is a platform that allows free expression and encourages networks within its community.

This space is an addition to my portfolio, as I saw it as an opportunity to create a third place I wish existed. To know about skateboarding from a woman's perspective, in a global effort, is something I hope to achieve and share upon others.
